These are the simple rules that hold up our small corner of the internet. By using Ournest you agree to them. If something here isn’t clear, write to us. We’d rather explain than hide.
Your account
You’ll need an account to use Ournest. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has been signing in as you. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
You need to be 16 or older to use Ournest, and you must give us accurate information when you sign up.
What you put into Ournest
Your photos, notes, and saved ideas belong to you. By uploading them, you give us permission to store them, show them back to you, and process them so we can do the things Ournest does: generate ideas tailored to your place, organise your feed, and keep your account working across devices.
We don’t claim ownership of your content, and we don’t use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Be kind, be honest
Please don’t use Ournest to:
- Upload content you don’t have the right to share.
- Try to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or get around our rate limits and security.
- Upload anything illegal, hateful, or designed to harm another person.
- Pretend to be someone else, or use Ournest to mislead other people.
We may suspend or end accounts that break these rules. We’ll try to tell you why.
Subscriptions and free trials
Some features are free, and some are part of a paid plan. If you subscribe, we’ll bill you on the cadence you pick (monthly or yearly), and the plan renews until you cancel it from your settings.
You can cancel any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; we don’t pro-rate refunds for time already paid for, except where the law says we have to.
The service, as it is
Ournest is offered “as is”. We work hard to keep it calm, beautiful, and dependable, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or fit a particular purpose. Generated ideas are inspiration, not professional advice from an architect, builder, horticulturalist, or anyone else. Always check before you cut, build, or plant.
To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim connected with Ournest is limited to what you’ve paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. If we make a meaningful change, we’ll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. The latest version always lives at this page.
